A special connection or relationship can change our lives and affect how we internalize interpersonal dynamics and the world around us. Relational intimacy can enrich our human experience - offering an individual a complicated taste of connection and love coupled with disappointment and/or suffering. Even the simplest, most innocent connection could take one on an expressive journey of highs and lows.
'It's Complicated' intends to exhibit work that takes an unflinching look into relationships - whether that of the artist or as an observer. We are looking for visual artwork that materializes and gives perspective to the complicated relationship struggles of any and all relationship dynamics.Â
